Streaker During UCLA Game Distracts Refs From Escalating Fight

If you're going to streak across a sports arena, you should try to choose an opportune moment to do it. Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way for one local nudie as he ran around Arizona stadium in the buff yesterday during a UCLA-Arizona game.
According to NBC Los Angeles, the streaker came out onto the field dressed as a referee. As luck would have it, he made his move just as a shoving match began heating up between three UCLA players and three Arizona players. Once the other officials realized the streaker wasn't one of their own, he was already off and running (and stripping).
But rather than creating a lighthearted distraction, he created enough of a sideshow to keep the real refs from intervening in the burgeoning fight, which, without anybody stepping in, quickly turned to fisticuffs.
"I was watching the guy running around with no clothes on and didn't see what happened," UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel told NBC.
The benches cleared to break up the fight, and we imagine that this particular naked person might think twice before pulling the same stunt in the future.
