Shots Fired at Funeral, One Woman Trampled Trying to Flee Church
Sheriff's deputies responded to a call that there were shots fired at a funeral taking place inside a church yesterday in Rancho Dominguez. Although no one was shot, one woman was injured in the chaos of funeral-goers fleeing the church.
The shots were reported out at New Philadelphia A.M.E. Church in Rancho Dominguez. Deputies did not arrive in time to catch any suspects, according to CBS News.
Some of the attendees at the service said that the funeral was being held for a gang member and members of a rival gang were responsible for the shots.
