Ouch! Rodney King's Fiancée Isn't Invited To His Funeral

Rodney King's funeral might be open to the public but his fiancée might not be on the guest list.

King's fiancée Cynthia Kelley is the woman who found his body at the bottom of their swimming pool last weekend and called 9-1-1. But relations between Kelley and King's family haven't been strong in the days after his death. Sources told TMZ that Kelley hasn't been in touch with the family since the day after he died and that there are no plans to invite her to the funeral. Ouch.

Authorities don't suspect any foul play in the case, but some family members and friends doubt Kelley's story. She said that she heard a splash around 5 am last week, and she ran out to find King's body at the bottom of a pool. She told friends that King had been on a bender the day before. His friends are suspicious because King was a good swimmer and because they noted that the relationship between King and Kelley was rocky to the point that King considered calling it quits. King and Kelley met when she was a juror in King's civil suit against the city of Los Angeles in 1994.

King's cause of death hasn't been released, and Kelley isn't considered a suspect in the Rialto Police Department investigation.
