One Man Dead After Canyon Country Shooting, Four Teens Arrested
More information has been released about yesterday's shooting in Canyon Country that took place outside a shopping center, reports L.A. Now.
The suspects are four young teenagers, between the ages of 13 and 16. They allegedly arranged to meet a man outside a strip mall and buy a Nintendo DS from him, but when he got there, they attempted to rob him.
It was when a second man stepped in to try and prevent the theft that things went wrong -- one of the teens shot the second man in the torso, and the first man in the right thigh. The man who intervened was later pronounced dead.
The suspects are all in custody.
