Traffic Alert: Obama's Motorcade Brings Plenty of Street Closures
It's President Barack Obama's last day in Los Angeles. Today, he'll head out to Pomona, then back to downtown for a town hall and off to a taping of the Jay Leno show. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a good number of street closures (see the map below the jump):
- Streets South of Beverly between Witmer and Beaudry
- Streets East of Witmer between Beverly and 4th Street
- Streets North of 4th Street between Witmer and the 110 Freeway
- Streets West of 110 Freeway between 4th Street and Beverly
There are no tickets left for any of Obama's appearances, so it's best to avoid the area as traffic will probably be crazy. There were also lots of street closures in the Century City area yesterday, so expect some of the same this morning.
