Man Arrested For Allegedly Raping Woman He Met On A Dating Site

Police have arrested a man suspected of raping a woman that he met on a dating website.Aaron Robinson, 32, is suspected of driving a woman he met online to a CVS store, where he bought alcohol before taking her back to his apartment in Hawthorne. He is accused of forcibly raping her there, police told City News Service.
The assault allegedly occurred on November 4, but police had not located a suspect. This week police released surveillance photos from the CVS.
Later, police identified Robinson as a suspect and searched his apartment where they found evidence they believe ties him to the rape. He was arrested at his apartment Wednesday night.
Robinson told the woman that he had moved from Atlanta to Hawthorne in June and that he was working at a law firm. Robinson is scheduled to be arraigned today at the Airport Courthouse.
