Valet Attendant Shot In The Stomach Outside Los Feliz Restaurant
A valet attendant outside of MessHall Kitchen in Los Feliz was shot in the stomach on Sunday night in an attempted robbery.
LAPD officer Jane Kim told LAist that the gunman, a Hispanic male in his 30s, pulled out a handgun and shot the victim, a white male in his 30s, at 7:05 p.m. at the corner of Los Feliz Boulevard and Hillhurst Avenue. LAPD Sgt. Frank Gonzalez told the Eastsider that the attempted robbery took place outside of MessHall Kitchen after the victim, a valet attendant, refused to give money to the shooter.
The victim is in critical condition. Police are looking for the suspect, who fled in a silver, four-door vehicle.
Erin Quill, who was at the restaurant during the shooting, tweeted this out:
Just had dinner at Mess Hall and someone shot the valet after trying to rob him, we all had to get under the tables...craziness
