Ladies, Want to Get Lucky?
Our friends over at Austinist asked us to pass along this casting call for Lucky magazine--one of their writers, Breanna, made the cut and will be striking a pose in the mag's glossy pages come March '08--and now they're looking for some lovely Angeleno ladies for a local shoot. Could you be one of them?
The shoot is going to take place here in Los Angeles on Friday, January 4th. According to their press info, what they are looking for are "real professional women." They want local established professionals, ages 20-35, who "have a distinct, professional style. Unfortunately, Lucky is not looking for women who work in the following fields: Fashion, PR, Beauty, Retail, Acting, or Music." (We're guessing waitresses with a box of headshots in the back of their Honda don't count, either.)
Moreover, since only sample sizes are available, you must be between size 2-8. "It involves a brief time commitment and the requisite hair, makeup, and wardrobe treatment with the end result being a prominent portrait in a spring issue."

They'd like to find the girls for the shoot by the end of the day Wednesday, at which point Lucky will choose the one's they'll shoot and contact them for scheduling.
