Gotcha! Five Arrested In Burbank Paintball Attacks
Anyone else remember the 80s paintball movie Gotcha! starring Anthony Edwards and Linda Fiorentino's fake Russian accent? AMAZING!
In less funny news, five people have been identified in connection with the 13 paintball attacks on pedestrians and property in Burbank over the past week, reports the Burbank Leader. Julian Stephens, Kevin Yuenyongsukal, and Eric Monson, all 18-years-old, plus two boys whom police declined to name because of their age, were arrested Wednesday.
All three 18-year-olds and both juveniles could face felony assault charges for shots fired at a girl on a bike, senior citizens, and a 16-year-old boy. Buildings and vehicles were also targeted. Victims could only provide vague perp descriptions but the vehicle descriptions, " 'proved to be a key factor in catching the men, all of them from Los Angeles,' said Burbank Police Lt. Jay Hawver," reports the Burbank Leader.
The adults were booked on conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon and held at Burbank Jail before being released on $60,000 bail. Burbank police plan to present their case to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office to press charges.
