Funeral Today for "Dougie" Rapper M-Bone

A funeral for the rapper M-Bone, a member of the group Cali Swag District, will be held today in Inglewood, reports the Daily News.

M-Bone, whose real name is Montae Talbert, was shot twice in the head while sitting in the passenger seat of a car outside a liquor store in Inglewood on Sunday, May 15 at 10:30 p.m. He was taken to UCLA-Harbor Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Cali Swag District was known for their hit single "Teach Me How To Dougie," which spent 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts.

Police have a description of the car that Talbert's killers were driving, but do not have a suspect in custody or a motive. The killing was called a random act of violence by the group's publicist, Greg Miller.

The funeral, which will be held at Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, is open to the public.
