Fullerton is officially descending into lawlessness. Yesterday afternoon, as his mother allegedly stood near her car placing a phone call, a four-year-old boy in the area got out of his car seat, crawled into the front seat, and took the vehicle for a joyride.

According to KTLA, the child -- who was not seriously injured -- made it admirably far. He drove along a major roadway during rush hour traffic and cut off other motorists, including those coming from the other direction, cut across several lanes of traffic, and sideswiped another vehicle before ultimately turning the car on its side and hitting a tree.

An investigation is underway as to how this all came about.
