Who Waits an Hour for Cupcakes at Sprinkles' New 'ATM' at 2:30 am?

Our June member drive is live: protect this resource!
Right now, we need your help during our short June member drive to keep the local news you read here every day going. This has been a challenging year, but with your help, we can get one step closer to closing our budget gap. Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership.

Like many other locals, Heather Schultz set out to make a video of her adventure to buy a cupcake from Sprinkles' new 24-hour automat.

But it wasn't that easy for Heather and her friend Michelle as she explains in this ominously titled video "Disastrous Desserts Part 2: Waiting at Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM."

Heather begins her narration just after 3:30 am. The machine ran out of cupcakes just before they arrived an hour earlier. Although it's cold and they have their puppies waiting for them, these gals seem determined. They brought coffee to keep them up and chairs to sit in while they wait...and wait...and wait. How did they describe the experience? "It's INSANE!"
