The Best Juice Bars In Los Angeles
Juice bars have become as common as froyo shops or cupcake bakeries in L.A. as of late, but there really is a huge difference between the riff raff and the top notch. Many might be exorbitantly expensive, or not even use organic produce at all. There are some winners out there, however. Here are our favorites around town. As always, leave your favorites in the comments.

Clover
Clover's well-balanced blends of fruits and veggies are cold-pressed off-site and bottled right away for sale inside this small Mid-City shop located adjacent to the very popular Modo hot yoga studio. Their new seasonal flavors like the coconut water and prickly pear juice are to die for, as is the namesake "The Clover" green juice made with vibrant cilantro, mint kale and pear. Another favorite is the super spicy Gingersnap, made with apple, ginger and lemon juice. They also make excellent smoothies, like the Chia Spa with almond butter, dates and bananas. It seriously tastes like a milkshake.
Clover is located at 342 S La Brea Avenue, Mid-City West, 90036 (323) 609-3903

Sustain Juicery
Downtown's health conscious have been flocking to Sustain to keep up their juicing habits. A knowledgeable staff will get you your made-to-order fresh juice made with seasonal local produce (and perhaps some exotic imports), but it will take some time because it's all cold-pressed to order. Bottled juices and cleanses are available, too. Sustain's menu includes Detoxifying juices, Wellness Cocktails (of the booze-free variety), shots, and whole fruit smoothies.
Sustain Juicery is located at 548 S Spring Street, Suite 114, DTLA 90013 (213) 488-1989
Kreation
Kreation has become so popular that they actually have a fully functional juice ATM at their Beverly Hills location. (It's certainly healthier than the Sprinkles machine, that's for sure.) Everything is farmers market-sourced, cold-pressed and organic. Our personal fave is the coconut, apple, and cinnamon blend for their Bliss flavor, but if that doesn't tickle your fancy you can order one of their kombuchas or pressed nut milks.
Kreation Juice is located at 9465 Charleville Blvd., Beverly Hills, (310) 247-8110
Juice Served Here
Juice Served Here uses only organic, local ingredients in their juices, which not many juice bars can say. What's more is that considering the quality of the product, it's pretty darn affordable. All of the green juices are worth trying. And the Hot Lei—made with coconut water, pineapple, lemon, honey, and cayenne—is as fun to order as it is to sip on. If you're in need of a serious sweet fix, their flavored nut milks are a delight. The chocolate milk is packed with goodness like alkaline water, hazelnut, cacao powder, coconut sugar, lacuna, macs rot, vanilla bean and Himalayan sea salt.
Juice Served Hereis located at 57 E. Holly Street, Pasadena, 626-578-0101
Nature Well
The Coconut Kale smoothie at Nature Well has long been an obsession of ours, even before the juice trend got started. The first Silver Lake location has now expanded to a Nature Well #2 over on Melrose, which is all the better, because their juices are some of the best around.
Nature Well is located at 3824 Sunset Blvd. in Silver Lake, (323) 664-5894, and 7261 Melrose Ave., in Fairfax District
The Juice
Helmed by two first-time entrepreneurs, this Atwater Village juice shop also has a cart located in the same aisle as Cafecito Organico at the Hollywood Farmers Market. The flavors fluctuate depending on the season. In addition to fab juices like their strawberry coconut water or the ginger, beet and carrot, they also do a bang-up job with their signature vegan ice cream.
The Juice is located at 3145 Glendale Blvd., Los Angeles, 323) 644-0250
