Pocky is playing a "Where's Waldo?" game throughout Los Angeles. The popular Japanese snack company that's known for making delicious choco-covered biscuit sticks is touring Los Angeles in a Pocky truck—and giving free boxes of Pocky sticks.

Yes, you heard us right.

The bright red Pocky truck hit up Covina, Azusa, and Alhambra on Thursday as part of their "Pocky Share Happiness Tour." They've also been to Glendale, San Pedro and other areas in the past few weeks. LA Weekly reports that the truck will continue to be in the L.A. area for the next month or so, so keep your eyes peeled. You can keep track of where they're going through Pocky's Twitter and Facebook pages. It looks like they've been giving out different Pocky flavors as well, including strawberry and almond crush.

Here's a video showing how they're spreading the joy. (The video also mentions how they're going to 150 locations.) Women in red Harajuku-girl-meets-Where's-Waldo outfits are handing out the treats:

This is the most recent map posted on Thursday on the Pocky truck Facebook page, captioned with the words, "SAN GABRIEL VALLEY, HERE WE COME!!! #Covina #Azusa #Arcadia #Alhambra #SGV." The red trucks on the map mean they've been to those areas and the blank areas are where they still have to go, so be on the lookout.

Seriously, just look at how happy people are about this:

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive before year-end will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
