L.A. is getting lots of love when it comes to food festivals. Within the past year, Food & Wine Magazine's popular fest has had it's inaugural installation in our city, Bon Appetit hosted a grub crawl, and now Luckyrice, which is based in Manhattan, will be hosting their first Los Angeles Asian night market.

Founder Danielle Chang will welcome chefs known for their bold, Asian-influenced cuisine like Susur Lee (Top Chef Masters and Chef of Lee’s, Toronto; Chinois, Singapore and Zentan, Washington, DC), Angelo Sosa (Social Eatz, New York), Chai Chaowasaree (Honolulu, Hawaiian Airlines), Erik Bruner-Yang (Toki Underground, Washington DC), Andrea Nguyen (Santa Cruz), Susan Feninger (STREET), Bryant Ng (Spice Table), Jet Tila (Charleston), Kris Yenbamroong (Night + Market), Mohan Ismail (RockSugar), Diep Tran (Good Girl Dinette) and Jenee Kim (Parks BBQ). Coolhaus and Eat Cake Cafe will provide appropriately-themed desserts.

The event will be held at the Helms Bakery Building in Culver City this Saturday, August 4 from 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m. Tickets are available for $55 at www.luckyrice.com.
