Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your year-end tax-deductible gift now.

Is it quitting time yet? The best part of the end of the workday is smartly known as Happy Hour, when, for luckily often more than just one mere hour, food and drink at nearby watering holes and eateries is made just a little more affordable for our weary souls and wallets.

Starting March 1, if you happen to end up in the 626 in the late afternoon and evening hours, you can partake in 15 straight days of booze and bite specials during Old Pasadena Happy Hour Week.

A number of Old Town dining and drinking spots will be extending their Happy Hours and offering special items at special prices from March 1 to March 15. Some of the venues will also be hosting free musical performances for your entertainment.

The restaurants participating are from all culinary persuasions; crepes, tapas, appetizers, sliders, desserts, and sushi, along with cocktails, beer, and wine, will be available all over Old Town. Prices range from $1-$12 and, like the specific hours, vary from restaurant to restaurant. Each participating restaurant's Happy Hour Week menu, though, is accessible online, so you can plan ahead.

There are definitely some spots worth checking out on the list; If we could spend a few nights hitting up Happy Hours in Old Pas, we'd be at Dog Haus Biergarten, King's Row Gastropub, Vertical Wine Bistro, Pop Champagne & Dessert Bar, and Haven Gastropub, to name a few. Check out the full list below.
