Armageddon Eats: Umami's End of the World Burger
In honor of the impending apocalypse, Umami Burger is preparing an End of the World" burger, made with traditional Mayan and Mexican flavors. The burger features their traditional beef patty topped with coffee braised short rib, homemade mole sauce, queso fresco and corn relish.
They also are doing "End of the World Fries," which is similarly adorned. The burger runs $15, and fries go for $5.50. It might sound a bit pricey, but you won't be needing your cash anyways. And it's sure cheaper than the $500 burger at Oliverio.
The burger will be served as long as supplies last -- or humanity lasts for that matter.
