Watch Hilarious 'Sesame Street' Parody Of TV Shows: 'Cookie Is A Flat Circle'
We'd like to give Elmo and Cookie Monster all of the awards. The Sesame Street duo teamed up to parody some of our favorite TV shows, including True Detective, House of Cards, Scandal, Sherlock, and Orphan Black—and they're equal parts hilarious and adorable.
Elmo and Cookie Monster stopped by the Entertainment Weekly studios to shoot their recreations of the dramas and crime thrillers for "The Elmy Awards."
There's nothing better than seeing the Cookie Monster portray Rust Cohle from True Detective saying, "Truly, cookie is a flat circle. Nom nom nom. Nothingness!" Also, there's Elmo doing Frank Underwood's Southern accent from House of Cards, and Elmo as Scandal's Olivia Pope finding out some batshit crazy scandals at every moment—just like in the show.
