Video: Mario Lopez Runs Around The Grove in Purple Undies
A bet's a bet, and TV host Mario Lopez is a man of his word. Since the 49ers lost the Super Bowl, the onetime "Saved By the Bell Star" had to make good on his promise to "streak" through The Grove on camera wearing a Ravens helmet.
"Streak," mind you, isn't quite what this was, with Lopez in a robe to start, then revealing his bright purple underwear right before he took off like an Olympian in a race for a gold medal as he made the quick circle around the central part of the popular L.A. outdoor mall. A surprisingly small crowd was gathered on the overcast day to witness the wackiness.
Back at the starting point, it was robe on time immediately for Lopez. (Sorry ladies. And gentlemen.) Of course, if this were just an average Joe's lost bet that had him running in his skivvies around the mall, it's likely he'd have been tackled and taken into custody. Oh, Hollywood!
