The last time we caught up with Wounded Cougar they were also at Safari Sam's where they play tonight. Singer dude had on these skin tight pants that were showing us everything (yet we still had to squint), there was one guitarist with a beard in a cheesy leather 70s jacket that was unzipped, another guitarist looked like he had just done some serious hall monitoring - but best of all was a dude in a scary halloween mask playing lead cow bell. All the songs were funny, rockin, if not a total metal meltdown, played with more professionalism than youd expect from a group of people who look like they work at a costume store and jam after hours - oh they backup Beck as their real job? - same diff.
