Another week in February, another Q1 with not many greatly anticipated games. But at least there's always news. This week around the internets, we've learned a few cool things that may pique some interest out there. Check out some news, game releases, and other info for this week after the jump.

News

Nothing terribly incendiary as of last week, but there's some fun stuff to be learned.

  • First song on Guitar Hero 4 revealed! Not too sure who/what/why though... via Joystiq
  • flOw, an interactive flash game (and now a Sony property) constructed as a USC student's thesis, has been announced for the PSP.via 1up.com
  • Attention all Street Fighter fans; more SFIV concept art and gameplay information revealed. via shacknews
  • Not exactly gaming related, but did you hear that Netflix is going exclusively with Blu-Ray? HD gives its uninspired, PR-friendly response.via Firing Squad
  • Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Wii) is the fastest selling Wii game in Japan right now. Now if it'll only make its way stateside we'll be in business! via Kotaku
  • Epic evolution PC game,Spore, is finally dated. via boomtown
    Releases

  • Lost Odyssey (360) - You may have seen the commercials for this one; a bunch of Square Enix-style characters traversing a snowy tundra as"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane scores the scene. Another title for all the RPG'ers out there.
  • FIFA Street 3 (DS) - Also to be released next week on the PS3, here's the third installation of the FIFA soccer franchise.
  • Frontlines: Fuel of War (360, PS3, PC) - Massive multiplayer war-simulation title from the depths of Kaos studios, a division of THQ.
  • Space Station Tycoon (Wii) - Another title in the Tycoon franchise, Space Station offers a co-op and multiplayer format to fulfill your intergalactic construction desires. All videos courtesy of IGN.com, image courtesy of FransBadger via flickr.
