The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, Xu Xu Fang & Castledoor @ USC Fisher Museum Of Art, 11/7/08
Last Friday, local indie favorites The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra (MySpace), Xu Xu Fang (MySpace), and Castledoor (MySpace) -- all three of whom have been previously featured here, here, and here -- performed in the courtyard of USC's Fisher Museum of Art.
Tonight's Grey's Anatomy will feature The Flying Tourbillon's song "The Uniform" "...somewhere near the opening [of the episode]," and they'll be performing on November 26th at The Echo (MySpace) as part of a Thanksgiving-themed show. As for Xu Xu Fang, they'll be at The Echo on December 8th.
Meanwhile, Castledoor is reportedly in the studio recording their first full-length album and they'll be performing on December 13th at The Echoplex (MySpace) with The Deadly Syndrome (MySpace), The Pity Party (MySpace), Amnion (MySpace), and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (MySpace) as part of a holiday-themed Doctors Without Borders benefit.
Special thanks to The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, Xu Xu Fang, Castledoor, KSCR, and USC.
