Sean Penn has had a pretty busy year so far. He's rumored to have secretly proposed to his beau Charlize Theron, and at the Oscars he managed to inspire the #penndejo hashtag to trend on social media after making a controversial green card joke. It looks like he's ready for another change in his life as he's now listing his Malibu getaway home that he's had since 2009 for $6.55 million.

Penn's pad is a U-shaped, Ranch-style home that sits on a large 1.42-acre plot of land, the L.A. Times reports. But there's also a detached guesthouse and a maid's quarters...or office, whichever you'd prefer, next to the garage. The whole lot has a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms, which includes a dining room and family room. Some of the rooms are charming with exposed beams, adorable green-tiled kitchen counter tops, and a fireplace. By the way, you can also fit 10 cars on the premises.

Even though the house is cozy and sweet, it's the outdoor patio that seems to steal the show with a swimming pool, a rose garden and terraced gardens, according to the RedFin listing. Penn originally bought the Malibu home for $3.8 million, but with his new price on the market, he could be using the extra cash to perhaps get a bigger pad to accommodate him and his potential future wife.
