Rooney @ the El Rey 11/27/09
LA locals Rooney kicked off their Fall tour in support of their Wild One EP, exclusively available all special-like at the merch table at each show. Rooney is the perfect blend of catchy and cute, like cotton candy without the sugar coma. What I'm saying is, were I to draw a Venn diagram of the Rooney fan-base and the New Moon fan-base I would basically be drawing one circle. But it's OK - they've got enough musical chops to melt the icy hearts of even the most die hard indie rock fans.
