Heads were turning last night on the red carpet for the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards as stars from movies and television gathered to honor the best of the best in acting. Awards season is indeed in full swing, so last night's gowns and hairstyles certainly gave fashion critics much to talk about.

While the winners were the focal point inside The Shrine Auditorium, many stars who didn't take home any statuettes still had tongues wagging. Actress Jessica Chastain was resplendent in orange, while actress Amanda Seyfried pulled off a stunning, sophisticated gown with a bit of a train. Meanwhile, January Jones ("Mad Men") and Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock," and winner of actor in a comedy series) had everyone talking about their hair; Jones' almost punk look was explained by the actress as the result of her losing clumps of hair thanks to years of coloring, while Baldwin and his wife assured everyone his mop top wasn't a toupee.

Here are a list of the winners, and we've got a few photo of looks from the red carpet.
