Tonight, L.A. offers opportunities to laugh, get creeped out and get crafty. Read on for the details.

The Westside Comedy Theater presents "Never Been Fist," an improv comedy show delivered by puppets. The 21+ show is sure to delight all fans of foulmouthed, fuzzy friends. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $5.

The Cinefamily is showing two screenings of Roman Polanski's classic horror film Repulsion, in which a skittish young woman slowly breaks down in her sister's apartment. Screenings are at 7:20 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tickets are $15 for non-members.

The Upright Citizens Brigade hosts new comedy by sketch groups God Hates Figs and Pitiful Creatures in their weekly Spank show. Tickets are $5, and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Unincorporated Education and Space 15 Twenty are holding a hula hoop rug making class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at PUR Vintage. Hoops and ratty old tee shirts will be provided. Admission is $15. RSVP via email (
