London Eyes LA Themed Art
CalArts teacher and Los Angeles photographer/media artist Dwayne Moser is wowing them in London this month.
Art Daily.com reports that two of Mosers works on display at the Laura Bartlett Gallery as part of The Acceptance World, a group show of international artists showing work related to modern landscapes.
Moser photographs sites of celebrity scandal in Los Angeles and converts the images into scenic backdrops appropriate for motion picture sets. The Brits are eating it up, apparently. Indeed, the "Daily Mail" reports that art collector Charles Saatchi just purchased Moser's "photo-backdrops" of locations where Hugh Grant was caught with Divine Brown and Winona Ryder was busted for shoplifting. Saatchi plans to hang the Grant image at his London County Hall Gallery.
We think it's a divine idea...
