In this jointly produced event, students will come together, teaming up with different schools, joining in a live action design battle show down! This design battle royale launches designers into the spotlight and offers audience members the unique experience of sharing in the creative process. This talk will explore the evolution of the practice of design using examples from IDEOs portfolio of work which includes the design of large scale governmental change, human systems, brands right down to individual human behaviors. From designing a next generation US Social Security service to new luxury, from engaging people in political participation to keeping them on their health plans design plays a role.

Tomorrow Today features work by current art and design students at Pasadena City College, selected by a jury of distinguished art professionals, including the PMCA staff. This is the first exhibition co-organized by PCC and the PMCA.
