Match The Kardashian Sister To Their Camel Toe Quiz May Finally Signify End Of Western Civilization
Reality starlet and up-and-coming director Kim Kardashian West has released a new quiz on her popular app, challenging fans to guess which disembodied body part belongs to which Kardashian/Jenner sister, because, as she writes, "it seems like my sisters and I are all known for one thing or another" and, according to Kim, all those singular things are physical. Categories include "cleavage," "ass," "lips," and "camel toe," among others.
If art truly is, as Frank Zappa once said, "making something out of nothing and selling it," then Kim Kardashian West is perhaps the greatest artist of our time, if not all time.
According to Kim, the quiz originally appeared on the app of Khloé, everyone's favorite Kardashian, but then Kim wanted to put her fans to the test, too. What, your family doesn't all have their own apps?
You will unfortunately have to subscribe to Kim's app to see the answers (it's $2.99 a month), but the quiz itself is free for everyone on Kim's website.
Well, we are using the term free loosely, because I do feel like I just paid with a small portion of my soul as I zoomed in on the three different boob shots and tried to differentiate the between the three examples Kardashian/Jenner kleavage.
The quiz itself looks relatively well-laid out (nicely-cropped photos, typographic design), so we can presume Kim/Khloé didn't design it themselves. Meaning that at least one person, and potentially a team of people, came in to work some morning and were told that this is what they would be doing today. And by "this," I obviously mean building a quiz that would allow fans to match each Kardashian/Jenner sister to their disembodied, sexualized body parts. What, like your job isn't on some level a Faustian pact? I think we can all empathize.
In fact, as everyone and their mother (even Kris!) knows, western civilization has actually been in decline for some time now.
Back in 2014, a NASA-sponsored study highlighted the fact that a collapse of global industrialized civilization could become a reality in coming decades, spurred by unsustainable resource exploitation, and growing wealth inequity.
Further, the research found that the "the process of rise-and-collapse is actually a recurrent cycle found throughout history," with the fall of the Roman Empire, along with "the collapse the equally (if not more) advanced Han, Mauryan, and Gupta Empires, as well as so many advanced Mesopotamian Empires," standing as "testimony to the fact that advanced, sophisticated, complex, and creative civilizations can be both fragile and impermanent." Lol!
So, is this what it was like at the fall of Rome?
Hard to say, but given how much fun we had with the last quiz, we thought we might as well make another. So here, is a bonus, seventh round to Kim/Khloé's body parts quiz, where you can match the Kardashian/Jenner sister of your choice to each of the five signifiers of decaying Roman culture (as attributed, probably apocryphally, to Edward Gibbon's seminal The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire). Have fun!
