April Fool's Day Cruelty: Justin Bieber Shatters Fans' Dreams by Tweeting Fake Phone Number
Justin Bieber is becoming quite the little sassypants. Known for loving to prank folk, he's now pulled a fast one on TMZ on this, April Fool's Day.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber posted a tweet this morning to his almost 37 million fans saying that he was taking personal phone calls at the number (888) 847-9869. But in fact, that is TMZ's toll-free tip line.
No doubt many a Belieber was left crushed and/or enraged when they found out the nature of the joke, but no one wants to get on Bieb's bad side, so they had to play along and instead take out their rage on their Selena Gomez voodoo doll.
The twist of the prank, it should be noted, is that TMZ will have to foot the bill for all the calls.
Bieber has since taken down the tweet, but later indicated that he may have more tricks up his sleeve:
april is a fun month. #ImNotDone :)
