Reports: Joni Mitchell Suffered A Brain Aneurysm
Joni Mitchell had a brain aneurysm the night she was found unconscious in her home on March 31, according to new reports.The website Showbiz 411 reports that Mitchell is undergoing rehab to recover from a brain aneurysm that led to the legendary 71-year-old singer-songwriter's hospitalization in March. There have been signs of improvement. The site says, "She is not unresponsive, as other outlets have suggested. Speech is difficult but she’s communicating."
She's not ready to go home, but she has been moved to a rehab facility. Her friend Leslie Morris, who stepped in to take care of Mitchell, is trying to figure out a way for her to continue her rehab at home.
A source who calls herself a friend of Joni told the site, "It's a long way to go, but she can do it."
Sources confirmed for Billboard that Mitchell had an aneursym and one source called her condition still "very serious."
