L.A. duo Ray & Remora got a few special guests to show up in the video for their cover of Pavement’s ’90s classic “Gold Soundz”—namely, the guy who wrote the song (Stephen Malkmus), former Sonic Youth bassist Kim Gordon and, for some awesome reason, Jeff Goldblum.

Directed by Snäckan B., the video sees the band (whose names are actually Dan Crane and Amanda Walker) going door-to-door to a number of musicians whose bands were big in the '90s, plus the guy who was in Jurassic Park and The Fly. It also features appearances by Money Mark, Weezer bassist Scott Shriner and the Bird And The Bee’s Inara George, as Stereogum points out.

Their aptly titled 1994 EP also finds the synthpop band covering songs by alt-rock heroes like Guided By Voices, Superchunk, Weezer, Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr. They already have a video for their cover of Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So.”

Check out the “Gold Soundz” video below and pretend it’s still 1994. Look out for the ’blum around the 2:40 mark.
