Before we get down and dirty with Saturday night's game, here is a little "audio postcard," if you will, that features some play by play action and Scientology bashing by the game announcers:

You know you're missing something when celebrities start coming to an event that a few years ago used to be held illegally in warehouses in Chinatown. Last Saturday's game brought out John C. Reilly (pictured left) and Patricia Arquette (interestingly enough, both are from Chicago). Reilly cheered on in the standing room only raised platforms while Arquette quietly went VIP style on the seated benches.

The first quarter (each quarter is 12-minutes) foreshadowed the final score as the Fight Crew crumbled the Tough Cookies three jams (rounds) in a row with Judy Gloom and Gory Spelling scoring 5-points each time. It was not looking good for the Tough Cookies by the end of the quarter with 3 points, Tough Cookies, 20 points, Fight Crew.

The Tough Cookies brought on a little stronger defense in the second quarter making the half time score 12 to 27, Fight Crew. Venus de Maul'r also got ejected from the game for 5 penalties accumulated during the first two quarters.

Third quarter started slow in terms of point gains, but was not without action. Markie D. Sod of the Tough Cookies may be petite, but don't fuck with this girl -- she's a pro at knocking you to the floor with minimal penalties (or getting caught). Her teammate and jammer, Mila Minute also stated to shine this quarter by gliding through blockers with ease ending the quarter with the Tough Cookies at 16 points and Fight Crew at 30.

Down to the wire, this game just got downright nasty with trips and falls and spills everywhere. Even Tough Cookie Captain Iron Maiven took out a referee at one point in the pit as she slid off the track (lucky for her, that particular referee is her boyfriend). Even so, she still got into two tiff's with the referees' point totals and math skills, only winning the verbal battle once for her team. Still, the few extra points gained (deserved or not) didn't help.

Final Score: Fight Crew 44, Tough Cookies 27.
