Reportedly a month in the making, pornstar-directors Belladonna and Kimberly Kane have organized a star-studded holiday-themed "Winter Wonderland" fundraiser, benefiting the beleaguered Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation, this Saturday night at Busbys East.

"'Kimberly and I were discussing the financial problems of AIM in a phone conversation one day, and I said to her, 'Why don't we do something about it instead of just complaining?' Bella told AVN. We were both very concerned with our safety as performers. AIM makes us feel protected, and we don't want to have to go to another clinic to be tested, we want the place that we've always gone to be here when we need it.' 'The thought of not having AIM anymore and the danger of a transitional period to another random testing clinic made me sick,' Kane added. 'Bella and I were talking, and we decided to do something, something big that every performer, fan and company could be a part of, and the response has been huge."

"The health care system isn't perfect, but the folks at AIM are trying hard to keep adult entertainers safe," blogged Jiz Lee. "I've used AIM for testing and have also gone to their website to check out their resources for folks getting into the porn business. It's good information, and I'm glad they're out there, especially for our LA friends. Kimberly and Belladonna depend on the quality and stability of AIM to continue to run their businesses."

The festivities will include comic auctioning by Brody Stevens, Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program), Ari Shaffir (National Lampoon's Lost Reality) and Chris Nieratko (Vice magazine, Jackass), plus live music by Fogelfoot and The Makers and spinning by DJ Franki Chan. The big prize being auctioned off for the evening is a group dinner date on Dec. 10 with Bella, Kane, Sasha Grey, Joanna Angel, Faye Reagan and Georgia Jones. Also on hand at Saturday's event will be Wicked girls jessica drake, Kaylani Lei and Alektra Blue, with Wicked Pictures and drake auctioning off their own basket of goodies, as well.

Adult luminaries Nina Hartley, Courtney Cummz and Nicki Hunter have been confirmed to attend, too, with many others sure to join the party.

"We were lucky enough to have the generous help of Joanne Cachapero from Free Speech Coalition and dear friend Ari Bass help to make this event one that the industry will not soon forget!" Kane noted.

The event is open to the public, but only those 21 and over will be admitted, and, as Belladonna emphasized, "No one gets in free! This is about raising money for a good cause, so be sure to bring a crisp $20 bill."

Trivia: Two of the stars in the grand prize are American Apparel models,
