Comedian Kevin Hart Busted for DUI, Jokes About it On Twitter
Comedian Kevin Hart wound up behind bars early Sunday morning after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence while behind the wheel on the 101 Freeway.
TMZ reports that Hart was spotted by California Highway Patrol officers who noticed his black Mercedes was being driven erratically, hitting speeds of 90 MPH. Hart reportedly "almost collided with a gas tanker truck," according to the CHP.
Hart was pulled over, and the CHP says he did not pass field sobriety tests. That sent the "Soul Plane" and "Think Like a Man" star and stand up comic to the local jail, where he was booked for misdemeanor DUI. He posted bail and was out shortly after.
And because every life experience is fodder for comedy material, here are Hart's Tweets today about his arrest:
Nothing says "hilarity" like driving drunk, right? Yikes.
