Chaunte of Maui Fever's Top 10 Reasons to watch the premeire Tonight on MTV

Long Beach native Morgan J. Freeman has lived the good life, and finally he's sharing some of it with the rest of the world.

Because Southern California wasn't plush enough, Morgan got his undergrad degree at UC Santa Barbara (where he met yours truly while we worked with each other at the college paper), jetted out to NYU for a little film school. Picked up a Sundance award during his last days at film school, and began making movies with the likes of Kate Hudson and Christina Ricci.

Television knocked on the door so Morgan answered. First he directed some Dawson's Creek, then MTV's Laguna Beach, and somewhere during that he told the suits that he had an idea: Laguna Beach in Hawaii - and call it "Island Fever."

The suits lit their cigars, gave our boy wheelbarrows full of dollar bills pushed by girls in bikinis, and Morgan and his crew jetted out to Maui and put together "Maui Fever" which premieres tonight on MTV at 10:30p right after the Real World.

Although Morgan is a cool guy, we thought our readers would prefer one of those bikini gals to give us their top reasons for us to watch the show instead of the creator, and if you continue with us after the jump you will hear from Chaunte, the petite little party girl who, if all goes well, you will be hearing a Lot about in the next few months.
