Bristol Palin Gets Another 'annoying death threat' at 'Dancing With the Stars' Studio

The show must go on for "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Bristol Palin, despite the studio at which the show is taped receiving a threatening letter containing white powder targeting the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

"The FBI and local authorities are investigating the letter, received Oct. 3. It was determined not to be hazardous," reports L.A. Now. Authorities did not indicate if the letter was addressed to Palin, but the contents "referenced" the young mother.

This is Palin's second time appearing on the show (it's an "all-star" season), and also the second time she's been named in a threatening letter containing powder sent to CBS Studios. In 2010, a similar piece of "fan mail" brought in the cops and the FBI to investigate the threat.

Palin's mother, who is seen weekly in the audience cheering on her daughter and all the dancers, posted on her Facebook page Monday:

I’m in California today to support Bristol. I’m sorry to see that she’s again getting those annoying death threats and more “mysterious white powder” sent to her while on DWTS this All-Star season. These threats sure waste a lot of time, production and public resources; but do the haters really think this will stop Bristol and Mark and the show’s producers from keepin' on keepin' on? Silly critics -- after all these years of goofy antics like this we find these efforts are actually quite motivating! Bristol’s not letting this get her down.

Tonight the show will feature a dreaded "double elimination" of all-star contestants. Palin and her dance partner, Mark Ballas, may not have much longer to worry about these "goofy antics" since their dance scores keep landing them at the bottom of the heap.
