Azealia Banks Won't Be Charged In Attack On Bouncer At Break Room 86

Rapper Azealia Banks will not face any charges for an alleged attack on a Break Room 86 bouncer that was caught on video. In October, Banks and her friends were partying at the Koreatown bar when, according to TMZ, she got unruly and was asked to leave. Video from a camera near the front door allegedly shows Banks trying to pull fire alarm on her way out, and a security guard comes to stop her from messing with the fire control valves. A brawl breaks out when the rest of Banks' entourage comes to her aid and a second guard comes in to intervene:
On Monday, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office announced they had declined to press charges against Banks "due to insufficient evidence likely to result in a conviction." E! reports that the case was dropped because Banks was the only person listed on the criminal complaint despite having multiple people involved in the brawl, and it was hard to determine who started it all just based on the video. Also, as TMZ reports, the guard wound up without any injuries, making the case even harder to prosecute.
While Banks is off the hook in Los Angeles, she remains under investigation in New York City for an incident last month when she allegedly bit a club security guard in the breast.
