Aubrey Plaza first promoted her upcoming movie, "The To Do List," when she pulled a Kanye West at the MTV Movie Awards and interrupted Will Ferrell's acceptance speech. Now, she's fully profiled in the New York Times, and she spilled the deets about the only thing anyone really cares about as far as the film goes*: What it was like to do her first sex scene.

The movie stars Plaza as a "randy, brainy, politically savvy teenage girl," according to the Times. Her sexual awakening is fully depicted on film, and it's described as follows:

For Ms. Plaza, the movie represented not only her first sex scene but also her first time simulating fellatio, masturbation and more. “It was a nightmare,” she said, smiling broadly. She was instructed to react to the moment of her character’s deflowering — in close-up. “I was like, this is the weirdest acting job I’ve ever had in my life.”

So, exactly how you would expect the notoriously dry-humored 29-year-old to experience a sex scene.

She's directed by Maggie Carey, who also wrote the film, based on her own experience as a teenager in the 1990's. Carey says of Plaza:

The character of Brandy Klark is sort of Aubrey Plaza’s version of Tracy Flick from ‘Election'...You see her in a room or onstage or on set, and she’s not afraid of making someone else uncomfortable...But the tension is comedic, and it works. It’s a very specific Aubrey quality.
