LAist favorites Warpaint opened for Foreign Born at last year's "Also I Like to Rock" (Koga/LAist)

Tonight, the month-long "Also I Like to Rock" free concert series kicks off at the Hammer Museum. Curated by Buzz Bands' Kevin Bronson and KCRW, the scheduled lineup is as follows:

  • Tonight: Saint Motel and Kitten, with DJ Dan Wilcox.
  • July 8th: Admiral Radley and The Happy Hollows, with DJ Anne Litt.
  • July 15th: The Heavy and Fitz & The Tantrums, with DJ Garth Trinidad.
  • July 22nd: Voxhaul Broadcast and Chasing Kings, with DJ Chuck P.

Plus the galleries are open until 9:00 PM.
In addition, the Hammer is offering a $25 Rock the Summer Pass that allows for express entry on all four nights, VIP access at the upstairs lounge, and member benefits from the museum and KCRW through October 31st.
