All Aboard! 2 More Expo Line Stations Open Wednesday (Plus How to Get Free Rides)
Metro's Expo Line will make two more stops as of Wednesday, when the Farmdale and Culver City Stations open to the public at Noon.
To celebrate the additional stops on the recently-opened line, Metro will offer free rides for passengers boarding from those stations. Plus, those riders will also receive a voucher for their return trip that day. If you're a bus rider in Culver City, there's another bonus: Culver CityBus will be offering free fares on Lines 1 and 7 all day on June 20.
Psst: Bike riders, all Expo Line stations have bike racks!
If you happen to be in Culver City Wednesday evening, you can ride the Expo Line to take part in Downtown Culver City's Third Wednesday "Summer Solstice" Happy Hour (5-9 p.m.). The monthly event brings together local businesses who offer specials and freebies, as well as outdoor entertainment and activities in the area.
Be sure to also check out the artwork along the way when you're riding the Expo Line!
