A 49-year-old man was taken into custody earlier this week for allegedly using his cellphone to take upskirt shots of women in local malls, but one angry mom wasn't going to take his behavior lying down, so she chased him through The Grove.CBS2 spoke with Whittney Peterson, who saw the suspect, John Puncel, stick his hand under her 15-year-old daughter's skirt. Peterson said she "flipped out" when she caught him "with his hand underneath [her] daughter’s dress,” and went after him, and even tried to grab his phone, on which she saw the image of her child.

Puncel got away, though, and apparently headed right to the Glendale Galleria, where he proceeded to allegedly take more upskirt shots of females shopping.

"Officers spotted him standing near the escalator and holding his phone under a woman’s skirt for a few seconds," notes CBS2. Puncel was taken into custody at the mall. "Puncel faces several charges, including resisting arrest, possessing nude photos of a girl under 18, and secretly recording under women’s skirts."
