Co-workers of Juan David Vasquez, the man shot in the face while driving home from work Sunday, have established a fund to which anyone wishing to help for his care can contribute.

Employees of El Chavo restaurant, just one of the two places where Vasquez worked full-time, describe him as "a
 well?liked
 co?worker,
 compadre
 and
friend" in an email sent out about the establishment of the fund. Adds the representative from El Chavo: "[Vasquez] is
 a
 kind
 and
 thoughtful
 person
and
diligent
 worker."

Vasquez was shot three times Sunday night as he drove home from his other job at Garage Pizza. The incident has been described by authorities as an act of road rage.

The shooting has left Vasquez in grave
 condition
 on
 life?support
 at
 USC
 Medical Center.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to go towards his medical costs can take cash or check to any Citibank Branch, or to El Chavo Restaurant or Garage Pizza. The Account number for the fund is
