Good morning and happy Tuesday. Another cool day in store with mild temperatures and gusty conditions as SoCal braces for the strongest storm of the season.
We are looking at highs mostly in the low 60s today across the region with sunny skies.
Most areas will see windy conditions, but mountain and coastal communities will see the strongest gusts, according to the National Weather Service.
L.A. county valleys to the Inland Empire can expect daytime temperatures in the upper 50s to the low 60s.
It will be chilly in the mountains with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s in the lower elevations.
Meanwhile in Coachella Valley, expect a high of 70 degrees.
Tonight's lows will drop to the low 40s, even upper 30s for Santa Clarita Valley.
As for the upcoming storm, officials are warning people to stay off the road if you can and reconsider any outdoor plans you might have on Thursday. That's when the peak of this storm is projected to reach Los Angeles.
Officials say we could see anywhere between 1.5 to 3 inches of rain for most areas, brining a moderate risk of flooding in debris flow areas.
