SoCal in for a slight cooldown

We're halfway through July, but the weather will continue to cool down here in Southern California with highs projected to not get above the mid 80s for most areas.
Today we're going to see gloomy conditions along the coast where patchy fog and even morning drizzle is possible. The high will be 71 degrees. Meanwhile, the valleys will see highs up to 85 degrees.
For Orange County coastal areas, highs will range from 69 to 76 degrees and between 75 and 80 degrees inland. For the Inland Empire, temperatures will be slightly warmer with highs from 83 to 92 degrees.
Meanwhile in Coachella Valley, hot conditions will continue with highs from 102 to 107 degrees.
We're also keeping an eye on some monsoonal moisture for later in the week. The National Weather Service says there's a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms for eastern L.A. County, the Antelope Valley and the San Bernadino mountains come Thursday.
