Good morning and happy Friday. A cool and drizzly morning is in store for SoCal, but more sun is on the way this afternoon.

Orange County beaches will be much cooler this morning with temperatures from 58 to 63 degrees. Meanwhile, conditions along the L.A. County coast will be slightly warmer, with highs up to 70 degrees.

L.A. County valleys will see highs from 61 to 71 degrees. For the Inland Empire, conditions will be cooler, with highs up to 66 degrees.

Tonight's lows will drop to the low 50s.

Surf advisory for local beaches

There's a high surf advisory for Ventura and L.A. county beaches through Saturday morning.

Forecasters say breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet are in store for Ventura County, and between 6 and 9 feet for L.A. County beaches, creating conditions for dangerous rip currents.
