Good Morning L.A.! It's looking like a partly cloudy Thursday as Angelenos switch out their rainboots for their tennis shoes.

It'll be partly cloudy throughout the day in L.A. County. Along the coasts average daytime highs will be in the mid-60s and and nighttime lows will range from the 40s to mid-50s.

The morning cloud cover will yield to some afternoon sunshine. Afternoon highs up to the mid-60s to around 70 from the beaches to downtown Los Angeles and in the San Fernando Valley, the San Gabriel Valley will range from the mid-60s to lower-70s. The Santa Clarita Valley will be in the mid-to-upper-60s in and the Antelope Valley will be in the 50s to around 60 degrees.

Inland Orange County residents will experience temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Riverside will range from 58 to 63. The Coachella Valley will be in the low 70s.

Looking ahead, the National Weather Service says a "warming trend" will develop through Friday with breezy Santa Ana winds heading into the weekend. Another smaller storm system is expected to bring rain and snow to the region beginning on Sunday heading into Monday, followed by dry weather Tuesday and Wednesday.
