We're looking at slightly cooler temperatures on tap for today and tomorrow, followed by significant cooling this weekend. Forecasters say there's a chance of light drizzle Sunday through Tuesday. With that comes gusty winds, particularly on highway corridors and mountains. The National Weather Service says winds will be strongest Monday.

Today's highs for the valleys will be in the 70s and 80s, up to low 90s in the warmest areas like the western San Fernando Valley and Inland Empire. Orange County temps will range in the upper 70s for inland coastal areas, and up to 83 farther inland.
At the beaches, we can expect highs in the 60s and low 70s. Dense fog will cover the coast again until 9 a.m. Remember that dense fog can reduce visibility up to a quarter mile so make sure you give yourself enough space between the cars in front of you and use fog lights.
