Cool temperatures are on tap for the rest of the week before a weekend warm up in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Today is expected to be sunny with few clouds over Orange County beaches, according to weather forecasters.
Not much has changed compared to yesterday's forecast, but inland areas are expected to be just a few degrees warmer, according to the National Weather Service. Most areas away from the coast will be in the 70s. The western San Fernando Valley and Inland Empire are forecasted to be in the upper 70s..
If you're planning a day hike, the weather will be in your favor. Highs are expected in the mid 60s for the upper elevations. Coasts will be in the mid 60s to low 70s.
