Carmen and Dave - Til Death Do They Part?
The kiss of death of relationships appears to be having an MTV reality show about your wedding or your first year as newlyweds, it appears, as today Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have announced they're headed for divorce.
MTV is reporting that Electra's rep confirmed the rumors that have been plastered across gossip and celeb magazines for months, that the pair of Carm and Dave are now single.
Navarro, the co-host of NBC's "Rockstar" telent contest, and guitarist of Jane's Addiction and the Panic Channel, has not updated his popular blog today 6767 but the open comments are riddled with condolences and optimism.
This year also saw the demise of Nich Lachey and Jessica Simpson whose popularity peaked during the run of the MTV hit "Newlyweds" which documented the pair's first years together. The Navarro's show was called "Til Death Do We Part".
This will be the second divorce by Electra who was married for nice days to former Laker Dennis Rodman.
Navarro, who released a solo cd "Trust No One" before joining the Red Hot Chili Peppers for a few years, is a weekly talk show host on Indie 103, and was born in Santa Monica.
